Jake Paul has labelled Tommy Fury an “embarrassment” after the British fighter pulled out of their scheduled December 18th clash.

The long term rivals were due to meet in Florida following a ton of verbal exchanges but that meeting is now off following an injury to Fury.

Paul, who will now participate in a rematch with former UFC star Tyron Woodley, who he defeated earlier this year, is not impressed with Fury’s withdrawal.

The bout was seen as the biggest test of Paul’s short fighting career and it’s not certain that the fight will be rescheduled next year.

"For the Furys, it's an embarrassment,” said Paul when speaking with Sky Sports

“They said: ‘We’d fight Jake with a broken rib, with our arms tied behind our backs. When it came down to fighting, they pulled out.

"I question everything about that family. The only reason he is anything is because of his brother.”

Paul added, “He has done a terrible job of promoting the fight. He isn’t as hype as everyone thought. I don’t like them. I don’t like anything to do with the family. I don’t see any reason to come back next year and give him a payday. It would be more fun to leave him in the dust.”
