'Belongs on the golf course!' - Arum tears into superstar over recent performances
Canelo Alvarez "belongs on the golf course", with Bob Arum suggesting the "finished" superstar does not belong in the ring.
The Mexican will face Christian M'billi later this year for the WBC super-middleweight title, seeking to recapture his old crown.
Canelo lost his undisputed status when outpointed by Terence Crawford last September, with 'Bud' retiring shortly after.
Now, legendary promoter Arum has suggested that the star should have followed suit, criticising his recent performances.

"Alvarez belongs on the golf course, not in the ring," he told The Ring on where he sees the star. "I think Alvarez is finished.
"I've no idea if [he] should retire or not, but I like M'billi in the fight. I’m not surprised that Alvarez looked bad against Crawford.
“Terence is a great fighter. Canelo has been a tough guy and a good fighter but not a great fighter on the level of Crawford."
Alvarez previously professed hopes for a rematch with the American, noting that he wanted a second dance against his rival.
