Allen determined to deliver night to remember
Dave Allen has vowed to give his hometown of Doncaster a night to remember when he faces Filip Hrgovic.
'The White Rhino' has booked a major homecoming against the former Olympic favourite for this May.
Hrgovic will arrive as the overwhelming favourite to deliver another victory over a British rival in the ring.
But Allen insists he will compete, stating: “Nights like this don’t come around often, and I’m not letting it pass me by"
Paul sets timeframe for return
Jake Paul has his eyes on a late 2026 return to the ring after last December's loss to Anthony Joshua.
'The Problem Child' suffered a brutal jaw break in his encounter with the Briton that left him floored.
Paul is still chasing a return this year, but acknowledges he has to take time to heal before he gets back in.
"I think I can spar in four to five months," he told Sky Sports News. "It's getting better but it's definitely still annoying."
Bivol set for new date
Dmitry Bivol's IBF mandatory light-heavyweight fight with Michael Eifert looks set to be off the cards for Egypt in May.
The star was expected to defend his crown on the Oleksandr Usyk-Rico Verhoeven undercard, per Boxing Scene.
Instead, the star will headline his own show elsewhere, as he seeks to build off his career-best win over Artur Beterbiev.
Bivol has not fought since his rematch victory in February last year, leaving the division waiting for his next move.
