Rodriguez eyed for June return

Jesse Rodriguez looks set to secure his first fight since November this summer as the star eyes a return in June.

The unified super-flyweight champion is unlikely to take an undisputed bout with Willibaldo Garcia however next.

A potential move to bantamweight could be on the cards, though Boxing Scene suggests it could be a one-off.

'Bam' has made no secret to add Garcia's IBF crown to his ranks, as the latter prepares to face Andrew Moloney.

TKV eyes Riakporhe glory

Jeamie TKV hopes a win over Richard Riakporhe at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will open new doors next month.

The pair meet in a heavyweight encounter on the undercard of Tyson Fury's bout with Arslanbek Makhmudov.

TKV outgunned Frazer Clarke for the Lonsdale belt last year, and now tackles the high-ranked Riakporhe next.

"He is ranked," he told The Ring. “So if anything, beating him will put me at a greater level than I am at now.”

Riley with 'nothing to fear' before Opetaia

Viddal Riley will have nothing to fear against Jai Opetaia if the pair meet in an cruiserweight bout, per Kalle Sauerland.

The former's upcoming bout with Mateusz Masternak has been designated as a title eliminator for the IBF crown.

Questions still linger over whether Opetaia will retain his belt after his move to Zuffa Boxing seemingly hurt his chances.

But regardless, Sauerland has told Boxing Scene that Riley will have no concerns about a bout with the Australian.
