Billam-Smith eyes Opetaia after Zuffa move

Chris Billam-Smith has his sights on cruiserweight rival Jai Opetaia after switching tracks to join Zuffa this week.

The Briton had been expected to challenge for the IBF belt stripped from the Australian in his next outing.

Instead, he has turned to the Dana White-led promotion with the intent of tracking down Opetaia for a dance.

"That's part of this deal, and part of the reason I signed with Zuffa," Billam-Smith told Sky Sports News.

Stevenson reiterates Benn desire

Shakur Stevenson has doubled down on his desire to face Conor Benn after the latter's win over Regis Prograis.

The Briton picked up another milestone victory against the former two-time world champion on Saturday in London.

But Stevenson reiterated to The Ariel Helwani Show that he would deliver Benn with a major beatdown if they met.

"I said I was down before," he said "Let’s make the fight happen. Let me show why I will beat the holy s— out of [him]."

Pacquiao puts Mayweather on blast

Manny Pacquiao has suggested Floyd Mayweather Jr. fears losing his perfect record as their rematch hangs in the balance.

The American has suggested the pair's Las Vegas clash will now be an exhibition, which Pacquiao and his team dispute.

"If that record will be ruined, what else will he be able to leverage?" the veteran superstar asked Inside the Ring.

“I think he's scared of losing. That's his leverage, to go around and have exhibitions because of his undefeated record.
