Chris Eubank Jr has had many trainers over the years, and he has reunited with an old one for his preparations for his rematch with Conor Benn, which takes place this weekend - Saturday, November 15..
Eubank Jr has returned to Brian 'BoMac' McIntyre, the trainer of Terence Crawford, and the man who was in his corner the night he gained revenge over Liam Smith.
Here's everything you need to know about the man from Nebraska.
A former fighter who once shared the ring with Butterbean, McIntyre's run at heavyweight was not a memorable one as he finished his career with a 7-14 record.
Inside the gym as a trainer, McIntyre found his calling as he got to grips with a young Terence Crawford, a fighter who had grown up in the same neighbourhood as 'BoMac.'
The pair began working together and their relationship has made Crawford one of the world's best fighters with several other boxers such as Amir Khan and Keyshawn Davis vying for his services.

Eubank Jr began his professional career under the guidance of Ronnie Davies – his father’s former trainer – with Chris Eubank Sr also often seen in his corner.
He briefly linked up with Adam Booth, who had previously trained David Haye, David Price, and George Groves, before returning to Davies. That reunion saw a run of victories, though it ended in a unanimous decision loss to Groves.
The 35-year-old has since worked with a number of trainers, often due to circumstances outside the ring. Nate Vasquez prepared Eubank Jr for his second-round stoppage of Matvey Korobov in December 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic brought their trans-Atlantic partnership to an end.
Legendary fighter Roy Jones Jr then took over, and the pair enjoyed three consecutive wins before parting ways following Eubank Jr’s disappointing fourth-round defeat to Liam Smith in January 2023.
Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre stepped in for the rematch, and helped Eubank Jr deliver an impressive revenge victory. However, just a day later, McIntyre was arrested at Manchester Airport for unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, after a pistol was discovered in his luggage. He was later given a 20-month suspended sentence.
Following a brief switch to Jonathon Banks, Eubank Jr is now back with McIntyre.
