Could we see a huge fight later this year?

After his victory over Jaime Munguia earlier this month, speculation continued to link Canelo Alvarez to a showdown with Terence Crawford later this year.

Ever since defeating Errol Spence last summer, talk of Crawford facing the Mexican icon has intensified and it doesn't appear to be going away.

Crawford will step up to 154lbs this summer when he challenges Israil Madrimov for the Uzbek’s world title.

If successful, a battle with Canelo could be next, and Andre Rozier, one of boxing’s most respected trainers, is worried for Crawford if the fight comes off.

“I don’t like it. Canelo hasn’t been rattled by anybody, and he’s been in with some big punchers. I don’t like that fight for Crawford,” said Rozier when speaking to FightHype.

“I like him at 154, and maybe touching ground at 160. But at 168, I don’t like it. He’s going to box well because he’s a fantastic athlete and a fantastic boxer, but I don’t want to see TC going into deep waters like that.”
