This latest win made Braekhus a two-weight world champion after an accomplished reign at welterweight.

From 2014 to 2020, Braekhus was the undisputed women's welterweight champion and became the first woman to hold the IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO world title belts simultaneously which saw her given the nickname 'The First Lady'.

As Braekhus hangs up the gloves for good, she will retire with a record of 39-2-1 (9 KOs) and will be seen as a pioneer in women's boxing which continues to grow from strength to strength.
