Chris Billam-Smith remains hopeful he can land Jai Opetaia next, eyeing a spot on the Ryan Garcia-Conor Benn undercard.
'The Gentleman' edged Ryan Rozicki in seven rounds on his Zuffa debut earlier this month in his hometown of Bournemouth.
Now, the former WBO cruiserweight champion wants to secure ex-IBF kingpin Opetaia, having followed him to Dana White.
Billam-Smith also has an interest in taking the bout to a Garcia-Benn bill in Las Vegas, but admits September may be too soon.
"I'm not entirely sure what is happening with Opetaia next," he told The Ring. "People have different timelines in boxing.
"Opetaia is the aim, but I understand that it's not as simple as just wanting to fight. Ours haven't lined up yet but they definitely will.
"It's a bit soon [for Benn-Garcia] if they do fight in September. That's a quick turnaround. If it's in October, then we may have to talk.
"Personally, I would absolutely love to fight in Vegas. Let's not rule anything out just yet. We'll be sitting down to work out what's best."
