Chris Eubank Jr has thanked the fans for making a "once in a lifetime event" against Conor Benn on Saturday night.
The two clashed in an epic fight at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with 12 unmissable rounds of hard hitting and brutal boxing.
Eubank Jr was declared the winner by unanimous decision with all three judges scoring the bout 116-112 in his favour.
Two days following the final bell, Eubank Jr took to his X account to write the following post reflecting on what has been one of the biggest fights of the year so far.
"Well it took nearly 3 years but we finally got the job done," Eubank Jr wrote.
"Big shout out to everyone that supported the fight on Saturday and made it the once in a lifetime event that it was.
"Without the fans none of this is possible, thank you."
It was rumoured that Eubank Jr had broken his jaw and was rushed to hospital after the night, but a statement by his promoter Boxxer dismissed these rumours and said it was instead standard procedure for Eubank Jr.
When it comes to what's next for Eubank Jr, a rematch with Benn could be next which is being rumoured for September with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium the frontrunner to be the venue.
