This Saturday night, live on DAZN PPV, we see one of the biggest rivalries in boxing finally put to rest when Conor Benn faces Chris Eubank Jr.
The bad blood is generational, with the destain for each other passing down from their fathers all the way back from the 1990's when Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn battled it out in two bouts, which have been rated as the greatest rivalry in British boxing history.
The pairs' hatred for one and other has really intensified in the build up to Saturday, with Eubank Jr slapping an egg in Conor Benn's face, leading to a heated altercation during a face off in Manchester.
It led to an explosive interview with DAZN, as Conor Benn angrily implode on Eubank Jr's character, leaving a stunning warning about what he was going to do in the ring with nemesis, stating: "He’s arrogant, he’s an idiot, thinks his s-t don’t stink and I can’t wait to punch him in the head.”
Adding "I want to smash him to pieces". He is going to feel every ounce of pain."

This family feud appears to be very personal for Benn, with the war of words extending all the way from critiquing Eubank Jr's character to his relationship with his father.
So, what is the story behind this match up?
The rivals where slated to fight all the way back in October 2022, however due to an adverser finding in a drug test on Benn's behalf the bout was cancelled and delayed by over 2 years. This caused an onslaught on Benn from both team Eubank Jr and boxing fans around the world.
Benn always claimed innocence and has expressed that the backlash caused him a great struggle, revealing in the emotional interview: "I struggled as anyone would, I’m human.
"What am I going to do, let it beat me down, cry? Trust me I’ve had my fair share of tears, I looked to my son, my wife, my baby girl, is this who I am then, is this who your dad is? That was why I kept fighting."
“Irrelevant to what people say, now it's like f-k you to everybody, that’s how I feel. I’ve been called the worst things in the past, you think I could give a rats a-se what you think now. That’s how I’m sitting, the reality is I’ve been through the worst of it”
It appears Eubank Jr did not let Benn hear the end of it, and Benn is holding on to what Eubank Jr has said to him: “To rub salt in my wounds while I’m down and kick me while I’m down, you best pray to God I don’t get back up.”
Could Benn be using this anger as fuel to put on a master class or is Eubank Jr in his head?

Being a natural middleweight, the weight class this bout is taking place in, Eubank JR is the bigger man.
Despite this Benn has assured his fans he is still very confident he is going to walk through his rival.
“I’ll come up two weight divisions, give you a nice beating, come back down to 147 and win the world title, that’s how my year plays out.”
“I’m jumping up two weight divisions and chasing greatness too, give him a real good beating.
"I beat him on my worse day."
Conor Benn is very obviously a confident boxer, with high ambitions of being a world champion, as he has shown by taking the fight at a much bigger weight class than he is used to.
However Benn well experienced in terms of both rounds fought and fighting on the world stage in mega fights. This will be his first ever stadium bout.
Could the shining lights be too much for Conor Benn to deal with? Is he clouded by his grudge against Eubank Jr? Find out live on DAZN PPV on Saturday night.
