David Haye's former trainer names the major rematch that should take place on Usyk vs Dubois 2 Wembley card

Adam Booth is eager to see David Adeleye’s next fight land on one of the biggest shows of 2025 that takes place this summer. 

Adeleye, the British champion, won the title earlier this year when he stopped Jamie TKV in the sixth session in a fight he had previously struggled in . 

Adeleye landed a huge shot after the referee had called for the fighters to break, and it was a punch that TKV did not recover from. 

Despite registering victory on the night, the controversy surrounding the stoppage has caused some outrage and the BBBC recently stepped in to order an immediate rematch with the title on the line.

Booth, Adeleye’s trainer, is confident his fighter can eradicate all the doubts from the first meeting and the former coach of David Haye and George Groves believes that Wembley Stadium, the location for Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2, could be the ideal setting . 

"There is a London show on July 19 that would be the perfect fit. This fight is absolutely perfect for the undercard of Usyk vs Dubois,” said Booth when speaking to Talksport . 

"I'd love to get it done because I see his career being way beyond British level. I want to deal with this one exactly how he should have dealt with it a few weeks ago. 

"It is heavyweight boxing. You are always just two fights away from being in the mix. We need a good year of progressive fights and being in the gym improving."
