Derek Chisora has revealed he's been offered a fight with a British heavyweight as he looks for the right opponent for his next bout.
The 40-year-old has battled with some of the biggest names in boxing during his career, including three fights with Tyson Fury, a hard-fought clash with Oleksandr Usyk and two encounters with Joseph Parker.
Chisora hasn't stepped into the ring since his victory over Gerald Washington in August but told iFL TV that a well-known name had been in touch to offer him a fight with an in-form British name.
Chisora said: "Frank Warren has reached out to me for Joe Joyce. It interests me but I don’t want it when they want it. They want it at the end of the year.”
“I’ve got Baby Miller, people offer fights, but do they really wanna fight? They make phone calls and sound you out then don’t phone again.”
