Regis Prograis reveals what he told Eddie Hearn about Devin HaneyEd Mulholland/Matchroom
Eddie Hearn is staging a big fight this weekend.

Regis Prograis faces a stern test on Saturday night when he defends his WBC 140lbs title against Devin Haney in San Francisco, shown live on DAZN PPV and DAZN.

The fight sees Haney look to become world champion in a second weight class after securing all four belts at 135lbs before making a successful, controversial defence against Vasiliy Lomachenko earlier this year.

Prograis begins the fight a significant underdog despite being the bigger man and as well as being the betting favourite, Haney is also preferred by show’s promoter, according to the New Orleans man.

Eddie Hearn will stage the huge event and Prograis has accused Hearn of favouring Haney, as the bout gets closer.

“I told him that. I said, ‘Eddie, I’m gonna knock your boy out ‘cause that’s your boy,” said Prograis when speaking to ProBox TV

“I know it, that’s your boy, you text and stuff like that, that’s cool. That’s your boy but you gonn’ be highly disappointed.”
