Eddie Hearn hails 'world-class fighters' Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn before super-bout
Eddie Hearn believes Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn's bout will see "two world-class fighters" step out of their familial shadows when they meet in London this month.
The pair will settle their long-running grudge in the ring as they meet at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 26, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View, in front of a bumper crowd.
The two, who saw their press conference in March boil over after Eubank slapped Benn with an egg, were originally set to meet in a legacy bout back in 2022.
But with both figures now renowned in their own right beyond simply being the sons of Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn, they appear poised to create British boxing history.
Matchroom boss Hearn agrees the fight is crossing over to new demographics, and suggests Eubank's relentless broadsides against him are playing their part.

"The fight is huge." he told The Stomping Ground when asked. "The reality is that it is everywhere. [Eubank is] slagging me off everywhere, and people love that.
"It's growing the fight, and he's doing a brilliant job. I think the fight, as it draws closer and the media opportunities, it is going to be huge.
"It's going to do huge pay-per-view numbers. It's sold over 60,000 tickets already. I watch Conor Benn train. I hear comments about this being a circus, but it's a great fight.
"This is a great fight. It's very difficult to pick a winner. You go to different pundits and fans give it a slight edge to Eubank. It's a brilliant fight.
"This is two world-class fighters in their respective divisions. It is a brilliant, intriguing matchup and it will deliver. They're going to try and take each other's heads on."
