Jaron Ennis will become a "unified, undisputed champion" in several divisions, with Matchroom's Frank Smith backing a title shot in early 2026.
'Boots' steps up to super welterweight this week against Uisma Lima, bidding to begin his journey in a new class with another victory.
Having united titles at welterweight before making the step up, the star is widely expected to repeat his feat with a little more heft on his bones.
For Smith, who has helped oversee the star's rise through the Matchroom ranks, this first bout can be the springboard to glory next year.
"It's a big weekend, and it's what it's all about," he exclusively told DAZN News. "Week in, week out, we want to put on the biggest shows.
"That's what we've got. Lima is a real tester, even if he doesn't have the commercial name like others. But 'Boots' is a spectacular fighter.
"He's got to be in the pound-for-pound top ten. He's going to become a unified, undisputed champion at multiple weights, no doubt about it.
"He can win all those belts at all these weights. I think that in the early part of next year, you'll be seeing him cotending for a world title.
"Time again, he's drawing huge US numbers. People aren't doing that. It's a big night for Matchroom and a good time for the sport of boxing."
Ennis vs. Lima is live on DAZN this Saturday night, October 11. Watch the fight and whole card with a DAZN subscription.
