'Trickier' Itauma stepping stone to Dubois rematch for Hrgovic
Filip Hrgovic has his eyes on a reunion with Daniel Dubois, but admits Moses Itauma is a "trickier fighter" for him to handle.
The Croatian suffered his only professional loss against 'Dynamite' back in 2024 in an IBF heavyweight interim title shootout.
Since then, Dubois has reigned as a two-time world champion, most recently dethroning Fabio Wardley to earn the WBO belt.
Hrgovic meanwhile returns next month against hot talent Itauma - and admits that victory could take him back to his old foe.

"Fighting Daniel Dubois felt like sitting on a boat and throwing rocks into the sea," he was quoted by The Ring on his rival.
"I would like to have a rematch with him. It's in the contract that if I beat Moses, I will [be able] to challenge the WBO champion.
"Now, it's a big test in front of me. I must take care of Itauma. Stylistically, it's a harder fight because he's quicker and southpaw.
"Dubois has much more achievements, he's a two-time world champion. But stylistically, Itauma is a trickier fighter."

Filip Hrgovic has made little secret of the fact he is ready to tackle a world title shot. Moses Itauma, for him, is the key to the door.
But even if the Croatian comes up short against the Briton, that may not put him out of the picture for Daniel Dubois just yet too.
If Hrgovic ends up on the losing end of a close contest, his stock may well be preserved - and with it, a path to the WBO crown.
Itauma, having been ordered to deal with Frank Sanchez for the IBF strap, will likely head that way if he gets the job done next.
Win or lose then, options may abound for Hrgovic. But as the man himself says, only victory will give him the iron-clad guarantee.
