David Adeleye believes that Filip Hrgovic could be overlooking his prospects as the pair prepare to meet in Saudi Arabia this Saturday, warning his foe that he is "nothing special."
The two meet in a fascinating clash on the undercard of Moses Itauma and Dillian Whyte's fellow heavyweight blockbuster at Riyadh's ANB Arena, live on DAZN Pay-Per View.
Adeleye claimed the British heavyweight title in his last fight, but has since vacated the Lonsdale Belt to step up and take this new challenge againt a star with only one pro loss.
Speaking at Tuesday's Grand Arrivals, the Briton cut a confident figure filled with swaggering energy, and threw down the gauntlet to his opponent ahead of the weekend.
"It's like my second home now," he said on returning to Saudi Arabia. "I'm feeling very good [about this fight]. He's a human being and he's nothing special.
"I think once you get to heavyweight, everyone's as dangerous as each other. A good opportunity came and I took it. I know he is [overlooking me], but he's had a full camp.
"He's been losing all of this weight. He obviously knows what I bring to the table. He can talk a good game, but come Saturday night, we'll see what he's about."
Hrgovic countered that he would not be dismissive of Adeleye, underlining that he cut no corners as he prepares to face his latest opponent inside the ring.
"I'm glad to be back here," he added. "I enjoy boxing here. I can't wait for Saturday. I'm not overlooking him. I had a hard training camp. I'm ready for everything."
