The world's best cruiserweight made his 2026 debut as IBF and Ring Magazine champion Jai Opetaia took on Brandon Glanton from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas at Zuffa Boxing 04.
Despite the referee trying his hardest to be the star attraction by deducting two points from Glanton and one from Opetaia, it was the sharpshooter from Australia who battered the American from start to finish to win by unanimous decision (119-106x3) to retain the Ring Magazine cruiserweight title and win the inaugural Zuffa Boxing title. DAZN News also scored the fight 119-106 for Opetaia.
