Jake Paul does not have many backers this weekend, but one former world champion believes he can get the job done, and he has even bet money on it.
Paul makes the jump to heavyweight on December 19 as he aims to cause a major upset against former world champion, Anthony Joshua.
The popular YouTuber will be giving up size and experience to the British superstar, but he remains confident that he has the qualities to secure victory.
Joshua is eager to become heavyweight ruler for a third time in 2026, and he has been heavily linked to huge fights against both Tyson Fury and Daniel Dubois.
In his last fight, Joshua was humiliated by Dubois, who destroyed him in five rounds, and he has not fought since that bout in September 2024.
Paul begins the fight a massive underdog, but that has not prevented Tim Bradley, who fought Manny Pacquiao three times, from placing money on his fellow American.
“I’m going to put five stacks on Jake Paul. The odds are too crazy,” said Bradley when speaking on his own YouTube channel.
“That overhand right that Jake Paul got. It ain’t no joke,” added Bradley.
“Joshua coming in light in the a-- too. I don’t think it’s a good thing. He [Joshua] said, ‘It’s all about money.’ It is, but the way you said it, it’s a game to you. Jake Paul is all in.”
