Jessica McCaskill had some harsh words for Amanda Serrano on the latest episode of The DAZN Boxing Show.

Playing a word association game, McCaskill was asked for her thoughts on the popular New Yorker, and when describing Serrano as ‘late,’ she was asked to elaborate on her answer by hosts, Ak and Barak.

In April, Serrano was one half of the biggest female boxing match of all time as she headlined Madison Square Garden with Katie Taylor. Despite hurting the Irish superstar, Serrano could not maintain her work rate in the fight’s latter stages, and she was eventually defeated on the scorecards. However, the performance made up a sizeable portion of McCaskill’s response.

“She got the big money fight, and that was dope, but she was late on the draw to knock Katie out,” McCaskill said. “She was late on the fight because she was picky over the money. She might've been able to do more damage before when this fight was supposed to happen.

“If she would've won, then what kind of money is she working with after everything that comes after that? Some people fight for legacy, some people fight for money, and some people fight for belts.”

You can watch our chat with undisputed women's welterweight champion Jessica McCaskil along with the entire Devin Haney exclusive interview on the latest DAZN Boxing Show when it arrives on the DAZN app on Thursday, June 30.
