Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao shocked the boxing world by announcing that they would be fighting for a second time - 11 years on from their first encounter.

Mayweather, 48, will officially come out of retirement to face Pacquiao, 47, again, and if it's anything like their "fight of the century" then fans in Vegas in September 2026 will be in for a treat.

The American took the victory in their 2015 bout by unanimous decision, adding to his 50-0 professional record. This rematch will be a professional bout that will go on both fighters records and you can be sure  that 'Money' will do everything to keep that perfect record.

Despite their age, because of their legendary status this fight will no doubt capture the imagination of the boxing public yet again.

Where is the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight?

The fight is set to be held at Sphere, in Las Vegas, United States. 

The recently built Sphere will host this rematch, the only other sporting event to be held inside the 20,000 capacity dome was UFC 306 between Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvashvili.

Since their last fight in 2015, Pacquiao has definelty been the more active of the two fighters, last fighting Mario Barrios in July of 2025, fighting eight times compared to Mayweather's two.

Pacquiao retired from the sport to focus on his political career in 2021, and with the recent announcement of this fight taking place, it now means that Mayweather has come out of retirement four times.

Mayweather last fought professionally in 2017 against the Irish UFC star Conor McGregor, who converted to boxing for the Vegas clash, with Mayweather winning by TKO  to bring up the 50 wins milestone.
