Moses Itauma says he is ready to "find out" new things about himself in his bout with Dillian Whyte, with the WBO #1 contender keen to test his limits underneath the bright lights.
The Briton faces his fellow countryman at Riyadh's ANB Arena on Saturday, live on DAZN Pay-Per View, in a bout that could have major ramifications for the heavyweight division.
Widely tipped as one of the brightest stars of the future, Itauma is already in a leading position for a world title shot in the near future, and enters as the bookmakers' favourite.
Speaking at Tuesday's Grand Arrivals, the twenty-year-old admitted his latest test would give him a chance to further understand his mettle when the heat is on however.
"It's a long fight week, but I'm here, I'm well," he said. "I can't complain. Today, I woke up around eleven, had a boxing session, and now we're here.
"Dillian has boxed 230 rounds more than I have. That brings a lot of experience. He said it himself that I'm a young guy but I've had loads of experience.
"As much as [everybody] wants to find out about me, I'm going into this fight to find out about myself. I've proved in my sparring what I'm capable of
"But I don't know what I'm capable of under the bright lights. Whether it's the chin, the engine - when you guys find out, I'm going to find out.
"I've never listened to opinions, because [they] don't have to throw the punches for me. My job is to do the boxing."
