Moses Itauma "has the world at his feet", believes Darren Barker, ahead of the star's blockbuster heavyweight dance with Dillian Whyte this evening on DAZN Pay-Per-View.
The WBO #1 contender takes on the veteran star at Riyadh's ANB Arena, looking to claim the biggest scalp of his career so far and move closer to a world title opportunity.
Itauma has long been tipped as the future of the heavyweight division, and arrives not only for the largest fight of his life so far, but also his biggest headline occasion too.
Speaking on DAZN's coverage of the event, former world champion Barker believes the younger man will be relishing the occasion, with the pressure on his opponent.
"He's passed all the tests so far, and this week, I think that has been a box that he's ticked," he said. "But this is special for him.
"This is a moment I think he will be relishing. On the flip side, I think Dillian Whyte really needs to give this his all.
"I want to see him leave that ring with zero regrets. He has to give it absolutely everything.
"It's alright showing us that he's in great shape, it's about telling himself that he's willing to go that extra yard for this camp to get the win.
"Moses Itauma has dropped ten pounds too. But this man here really has the world at his feet, he really does."
