Nigel Benn has spoken about what could be next for Conor Benn.

Nigel Benn has identified three fighters who he’d like to see his son, Conor, fight next and the list includes Chris Eubank Jr.

The British boxing legend has constantly been by his son’s side on his rise through the welterweight rankings, but who does he want to see his son share a ring with as he closes in on a huge fight.

Earlier this month, Benn maintained his uneaten record as he outpointed New York’s Peter Dobson in New York.

Benn’s name has been linked to a number of high-profile fights in 2024 including a big showdown with Gervonta Davis, but the Baltimore man isn’t in Benn Sr’s thinking at this moment.

“I would like to see three fights next: Mario Barrios, Chris Eubank Jr or Liam Smith. He's ready for Eubank and Smith right now - I'm not worried about Eubank whatsoever,” said Benn when speaking to Fruity Slots

“In the second fight against Eubank, Smith threw 34 punches, what's that all about? You can see his ankles were all over the place. For the first round Eubank was holding on for dear life and then after three rounds he realised nothing was coming back because Smith never threw nothing.

“That was a shell of a man, that wasn't the Smith we knew. We'd take Smith or Eubank wherever whenever.”
