WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is the one holding up the announcement for the undisputed fight with unified champion Oleksandr Usyk.
That's the opinion of Usyk's promoter Alexander Krassyuk, who has revealed that the Fury camp has turned down a 60/40 purse split to the winner deal.
Fury and Usyk were supposedly preparing to go head-to-head for the undisputed world heavyweight title on April 29 at Wembley Stadium, but this is now looking unlikely due to the date's close proximity.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Krassyuk gave an update on his side of the negotiating table and responded to Frank Warren's claim that the finances involved is affecting the prospect of a deal being struck.
"Frank Warren said he’s got a pot and he needs to get the agreement of both parties to participate, and if the money in the pot is not enough it won’t happen,” Krassyuk said.
“I completely agree with it. On our side, we have nothing more to add.
“We are not asking for a figure, we are asking for a split and probably the split doesn’t work well if someone is asking for a figure, and I can definitely say that it’s not our party."
Krassyuk then went onto speak about the purse splits for the fight and the two offers which had been turned down by Fury.
"We initially agreed for 50/50,” Krassyuk began.
“But then Tyson was asking for some bigger money.
"So we made it clear that we are ready to go 60/40, but the winner takes 60.
“That was our latest offer.”
When asked if Fury refused the latest offer, Krassyuk replied: "Yes, exactly."
