Oleksandr Usyk has sent a defiant message to Daniel Dubois ahead of their heavyweight rematch at Wembley.

Usyk, 23-0 (14), knocked out Dubois, 22-2 (21), two years ago when they faced each other in Poland, but this time he is travelling to the UK for their undisputed clash.

However, the Ukrainian great is unfazed by the challenge that awaits him, and has delivered a nine-word warning to his rival on Instagram.

Alongside a photo of himself flexing his muscles, Usyk wrote: “Pressure doesn’t exist when you’re the one creating it.”

The photo was taken from Usyk’s training camp in Valencia, with the 38-year-old set to head to London in the coming days.

His preparations for Dubois have been more straightforward than for his rematch with Tyson Fury in December.

The heavyweight king was detained by police officers at Krakow Airport in Poland before being released back in September ahead of heading to Valencia to begin training.

Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy his 'outrage' at the incident, but Usyk played down any tensions.

“Friends, everything is fine,” Usyk subsequently posted on Instagram. “There was a misunderstanding that was quickly resolved. Thank you to everyone who was concerned. Respect to the Polish law enforcement officers who perform their duties regardless of height, weight, arm span, and titles.”

Usyk will be bringing his belts to the UK as he bids to maintain his perfect record against British fighters.

He has already recorded two wins over Fury and Anthony Joshua, respectively, while he has also beaten Tony Bellew and Derek Chisora.

Now, Dubois is in his sights for the second time, and, based on his physical condition, Usyk is more than ready.
