Tim Tszyu agreed to Errol Spence Jr.'s weight-change demands as he doesn't "want any excuses" for victory over his rival.
The Australian will face the American at Sydney's Afterpay Arena next weekend, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View and Ultimate.
Originally agreed as a 158-pound catchweight contest, Spence subsequently requested a change to a middleweight bout.
Tszyu has agreed to the alteration - and stressed that he has no issue with the change, insisting he was content to do so.
"I don't want any excuses," he told The Ring. "I wanted him here. I wanted the fight to happen. I'm not a diva. I'm an easy guy.
"I want him here, refreshed, rejuvenated, not struggling with weight, everything on point. I want to beat up the best Errol Spence.”
Spence is ending a three-year hiatus from the ring in his bout with Tszyu, having previously lost to Terence Crawford in July 2023.
Tszyu meanwhile is continuing to rebuild from last year's defeat to Sebastian Fundora, having notched two routine victories since.
