Wembley, Spurs, Riyadh: Where will Fury-Joshua super-bout take place?

DAZN
Benavidez vs. Zurdo: Watch on DAZN PPV - Saturday

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua's blockbuster heavyweight super-bout looks to be finally locked and loaded for later this year.

'The Gypsy King' and 'AJ', two of the greatest prizefighters of their era, will finally lock horns in a major encounter in late 2026.

After years of near-misses and sliding doors, it appears that fight fans will finally be rewarded with a slugfest between the two.

Yet beyond the fresh ink on the pair's contracts, plenty of details are still to be ironed out - including both a date and a venue.

With Joshua set to take a tune-up against Kristian Prenga in July, signs point to a showdown between October and December.

But just where could this encounter wind up? Here, DAZN News rifles through some of the leading host options for Fury-Joshua.

Wembley Stadium

For years, most discussions involving Fury and Joshua have generally centred on a clash beneath the shadow of the iconic arch.

As the United Kingdom's biggest venue, the 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium has played host to both men across their careers.

Exposure to the autumn-winter elements is a risk, but it remains one both men have experience handling if bad weather occurs.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The newest major stadium in London, this 62,850-capacity stadium has become a regular destination for top-tier boxing events.

Fury made his comeback at this very venue earlier this month, defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov by a wide unanimous decision.

That said, if Tottenham Hotspur are relegated from the Premier League, its availability for the football season will likely narrow.

Kingdom Arena

If the seasons are set to play havoc with plans for a late 2026 bout, then the home of Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal beckons.

A regular haunt for both Fury and Joshua during Riyadh Season campaigns, the 30,000-capacity Kingdom Arena offers much.

That said, the decision to take arguably the biggest domestic fight in British history from its shores would likely be unpopular.

Croke Park

This one might be off the cards now, but it appeared only a matter of weeks ago that Fury-Joshua was destined for Dublin.

Nicknamed 'Croker', the 82,300-capacity Croke Park is the world's foremost Gaelic games stadium - and often protective too.

Few other sports have been held down the years, though with Katie Taylor chasing a farewell there, boxing seems on the cards.

Co-op Live

Consider this a curveball, given its comparatively slender capacity - but might Fury and Joshua head to the nation's newest arena?

The 23,500-capacity Co-op Live in Manchester is already a favourite haunt for Queensberry, and has earned much praise from fans.

It may only be able to fit a franction of a stadium crowd through its doors, but for a cauldron-like atmosphere, it could be a triumph.
