Oleksandr Usyk gives one word message to Dubois during Wembley face-off
Three-belt world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk cut an intense and fixated figure on Tuesday as he visited Wembley Stadium, the venue of his undisputed world title bout this Saturday.
Yet again, 'The Cat' will have to be the ultimate road warrior, fighting away from his beloved Ukraine in another career-defining fight for the modern day boxing great.
The 38-year-old will step into IBF champion Daniel Dubois' backyard at Wembley, live on DAZN PPV, to try and defeat another Brit to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world for a second time in 16 months.
After beating Tyson Fury in May 2024 to be crowned the first undisputed heavyweight champion in the four belt era - and first in over 20 years - Usyk now must defeat Dubois for a second time to regain all four titles.
After unveiling a Boryviter mosaic replica in Trafalgar Square on Monday, Usyk arrived at Wembley on Tuesday to get familiar with his surroundings ahead of fight night and face off with his new foe.
During his trip, the WBO, WBA and WBC champion posted an image of himself under Wembley's famous arch with a single word message to Dubois and his fanbase - 'focused'.
Known as the 'Brit basher' after seeing off the challenges of Fury and Anthony Joshua twice, plus past victories over Tony Bellew, Derek Chisora and Dubois in 2023, Usyk must show that famed focus, speed and ring craft to defeat a much improved, more mentally resilent and much younger Dubois come Saturday evening.
