Seven months since they last stepped into the ring together, Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin are ready to dance again.
The duo met in August 2020, with Povetkin claiming Whyte's WBC interim heavyweight championship, causing the latter to activate his rematch clause. It's taken longer than expected to get here, with several postponements primarily due to the coronavirus pandemic, but now they're set to square off in Gibraltar on Saturday in what should be a mouthwatering sequel.
Not only will the WBC interim title be on the line once again, but the winner of Saturday's bout should be in line to face the winner of Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury.
