Many wondered which Chicago Bears team would show after getting blown out 52-21 against the Detroit Lions in Week 2.
A completely different team showed up as Caleb Williams went 19-28 for 298 yards and tied a career high with four touchdowns to lead the Bears (1-2) to a 31-14 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on NFL Game Pass on DAZN (excl. US and China).
Williams played the best game of his short career since being drafted by the Bears with the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. In the first half, Williams threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns. Also for the Bears, Luther Burden III caught three balls for 101 yards and a touchdown, and DeAndre Swift had 78 total yards (45 receiving, 33 rushing).
The defense played its best football in this young NFL season by holding the Cowboys scoreless in the second half, forcing three interceptions, and getting two sacks.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott went 31 of 40 for 251 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. Tight end Jake Ferguson led the Cowboys with 13 receptions for 82 yards.
The Bears look for back-to-back wins next week as they travel to Las Vegas and face the Raiders, while the Cowboys head back home to face off with former teammate Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.
