Every NFL Week 18 game with playoff implications

The final week of the 2025 NFL regular season has arrived with more drama and uncertainty than most expected at the start of the year, setting up a series of games in Week 18 that have genuine playoff-altering consequences.

With neither conference’s No. 1 seed clinched and four division titles still up for grabs, this weekend’s slate feels more like a postseason preview than a typical regular-season finish.

In the AFC, all eyes are on the Denver Broncos as they host the Los Angeles Chargers. Denver, sitting at 13-3, can secure the AFC’s top seed – and with it home-field advantage throughout the playoffs – with a win.

If the Broncos falter, the New England Patriots, who also sit at 13-3, control their own destiny at home against Miami and could leapfrog Denver with a victory and Broncos loss. The Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t out of the picture either; they need a win over the Tennessee Titans and losses by both Denver and New England to claim the No. 1 seed. This three-way tussle for the conference’s elite position underscores just how wide open the AFC race remains entering Week 18.

But the top-seed story isn’t the only subplot. The AFC South title also looms large in Jacksonville, where the Jaguars’ clash with the Titans could deliver the division crown. Houston, already locked into a playoff berth and riding a remarkable eight-game win streak, play Indianapolis and could complicate matters with a victory and Jaguars loss.

Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens will kick off Sunday night in what amounts to a winner-take-all showdown for the AFC North. Pittsburgh will secure the division with a win or tie, while a Ravens victory would see Baltimore take top spot in the division for the first time in an injury-hit season – marking a dramatic turnaround for a franchise that began the year poorly.

Out west in the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers meet in a Saturday night clash that carries massive implications. Seattle, ahead by one game at 13-3, will claim both the NFC West title and the conference’s No. 1 seed with a win or even a tie. A San Francisco triumph, however, would flip the script and send the 49ers to the top spot, injecting maximum tension into the postseason picture.

Elsewhere in the NFC South, the Carolina Panthers travel to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a de facto division title game. The Panthers control their fate: a win earns them the crown and a playoff berth, while a Bucs victory could still leave things tangled depending on outcomes elsewhere.

Across the league, every snap this weekend feels magnified, with playoff hopes, home-field advantage and the promise of January football all hanging in the balance.
