The Chicago Bears were founded in 1919, joined the NFL as a founding member in 1920, and collected 8 titles before the AFL-NFL merger.
The Bears have not enjoyed the same level of success in the Super Bowl era. However, the team that won Super Bowl XX will forever be regarded as one of the best ever.
Despite their lack of recent glory, Chicago also enjoyed pop culture crossover that will likely never be repeated.
DAZN dives into the Bears' record in the NFL's biggest game.
DAZN's early Game Pass playoffs sale has just landed, giving you every game throughout the postseason, including the Super Bowl, for only £19.99.
The offer drops ahead of what promises to be an action-packed Wild Card weekend, featuring the San Francisco 49ers taking on the Philadelphia Eagles, the Chicago Bears hosting the Green Bay Packers, and more.
In addition to every game, live or on demand, Game Pass also provides access to RedZone, NFL Network, and DAZN’s weekly original shows, including Downs 2 Business, Kittle Things, and X's & O's coaching breakdown.

The Bears won Super Bowl XX, the first one they appeared in. Chicago's roster in that game featured several all-time greats, including Walter Payton, Mike Singletary, William 'The Fridge' Perry, and Richard Dent to name but a few.
That season was also famous for the release of the "Super Bowl Shuffle," a quintessentially '80s rap song that charted on the Billboard Hot 100 immediately following Chicago's championship and is still talked about today.
As noted, the Bears' last (and only) Super Bowl win came back in 1986.
