After helping the Seattle Seahawks capture Super Bowl LX, offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak confirmed he is on his way to Las Vegas to become the head coach of the Raiders.

Speaking from Levi’s Stadium after the Seahawks’ 29-13 win over the New England Patriots, Kubiak made his intentions clear.

Kubiak joined the Seahawks coaching staff as offensive coordinator last year and played an integral role in Seattle’s offensive turnaround that culminated in Super Bowl success.

His work helped the team rank among the league’s best in scoring and offensive efficiency this season - a decisive factor in Seattle’s title run.

Under Kubiak's guidance, a trio of Seattle stars have enjoyed career-best seasons.

Sam Darnold - once considered a bust - not only built on last year's impressive turnaround, but has elevated his game to another level.

Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba posted career-high numbers on his way to becoming the Offensive Player of the Year.

And finally, Kenneth Walker, who won the Super Bowl MVP award, has thrived in Kubiak's scheme during the postseason.

Now, Kubiak's capitalising on his success and swapping Seattle for Las Vegas, where he'll become a first-time head coach of a Raiders side that finished last season with one of the NFL’s worst records.

Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers are already in place, and the Raiders are widely expected to use their No. 1 pick on Heisman winner and College Football Playoff national champion Fernando Mendoza.

That group gives the offensive-minded coach no shortage of weapons as he begins his fresh start in Las Vegas.

With the opportunity to lead a franchise as its head coach, Kubiak’s next chapter begins in Las Vegas after a memorable end to his time in Seattle.
