We're four weeks into the NFL season, and the surprises have been coming thick and fast. It's still early, but some of the teams we initially thought would be contenders are slipping, while many of the underdogs have surpassed expectations.

As Week 5 rapidly approaches, let's take a look at how teams currently stack up in our power rankings.

NFL Game Pass ROW

1) Philadelphia Eagles (4-0, Even): Somehow, someway, the Eagles continue to find a way to get the job done. They nearly blew a big lead against the Bucs, and Jalen Hurts did not complete a pass in the second half.

2) Buffalo Bills (4-0, Even): Fans seem to be upset even though they won by 12. Double-digit wins are hard to come by in the NFL.

3) Detroit Lions (3-1, Even): The Lions brought the momentum from their Week 3 win over the Ravens to stomp out the Browns. The NFC North leader is rounding into form.

4) Kansas City Chiefs (2-2, Up 4): A victory in Week 3 was what the doctor ordered for the Chiefs, as they put up 37 on the Ravens. Patrick Mahomes showed why he's Patrick Mahomes, and the defense is rounding into form.

5)  Los Angeles Rams (3-1, Up 7): Huge bounce-back win after an agonizing Week 3 loss to the Eagles in knocking the Colts from the undefeated ranks.

6) Green Bay Packers (2-1-1, Even): A tie shouldn't be rewarded, as it is now two weeks since the Packers have gone without a win. The offense is on point, but the defense needs to get it together, or a slide will occur next week.

7) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1, Down 3): An impressive comeback that came up just short against the reigning Super Bowl champions. Nothing to be ashamed of.

8)  Los Angeles Chargers (3-1, Down 3): Not a good performance whatsoever by Justin Herbert and the Chargers. They played flat and paid for it. Head Coach Jim Harbaugh will have them back on track.

9) Seattle Seahawks (3-1, Up 6): The road warriors continue to find a way to win away from Seattle.

10) Pittsburgh Steelers  (3-1, Up 7): A road win is good in any manner but heading across the Atlantic to Dublin is extra special. The run game was improved against the Vikings, and the Aaron Rodgers to DK Metcalf connection is something special to watch

11) Indianapolis Colts (3-1, Even): Yes, they lost to the Rams on the road. But Daniel Jones played well, and the Colts showed they aren't going anywhere this season.

12) Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1, Up 7): Who had this on their bingo card when the season started? The offense has some work to do. But give the defense credit. They are keeping their team in the game, and at the end of the day, the defense always wins the game.

13) San Francisco 49ers (3-1, Even): The loss of Nick Bosa hurts. Brock Purdy needs to show up next week. He gets a one-week reprieve but needs a big performance against the Rams.

14) Baltimore Ravens (1-3, Down 7): Problems on both sides of the ball continue. Now, with Lamar Jackson possibly out, the slide could continue.

15) Washington Commanders (2-2, Down 6): Paging Jayden Daniels. Paging Jayden Daniels. It's not that Marcus Mariota is playing bad football. Daniels is just that much of a difference, and he's the straw that stirs the drink.

16) Denver Broncos (2-2, Even): Throwing for 326 yards and two touchdowns is what the doctor ordered for Bo Nix.

17) Minnesota Vikings (2-2, Down 3): The injuries are piling up, and the defense, which is normally their bread and butter, isn't its dominant self.

18) Chicago Bears (2-2, Up 4):  Caleb Williams showed out for the second week in a row in leading the Bears to a comeback win on the road over the Raiders. A good way to head into the bye week.

19) Arizona Cardinals (2-2, Even): A tough loss against a good Seahawks. This is a gritty Cardinals team that will keep itself in games.

20) Atlanta Falcons (2-2, Up 2): A much-needed win to get things back on track as it looked like things were about to go off the rails.

21) Dallas Cowboys (1-2-1, Up 2): A tie is never ideal. But it is here. The offense flourished without CeeDee Lamb as Javonte Williams had 85 yards rushing and a touchdown.

22) New England Patriots (2-2, Up 2): The improvement is there and seen by the Pats. A statement could be made next week as they face the kings of the division, the Bills.

23) Cincinnati Bengals (2-2, Down 2): Joe Burrow can't return any sooner.

24) New York Giants (1-3, Up 4): The switch to Jaxson Dart seemed to jolt the Giants as the 2025 first-round pick had two total touchdowns (one passing, one rushing) to give the Giants their first win of the campaign.

25) Houston Texans (1-3, Up 2):  A win is a win, and it doesn't matter who it's against.

26) Miami Dolphins (1-3, Up 5): The Dolphins got into the win column, but it came at a price as Tyreek Hill is out for the season.

27) Las Vegas Raiders (1-3, Down 1): A tough home loss to the Bears. The defense has to play better. The offense putting up 24 points should more often than not get the job done.

28) Cleveland Browns (1-3, Down 3): The Joe Flacco experiment needs to end. Let's see what Dillon Gabriel and Shadeur Sanders can provide to the Browns.

29) New York Jets (0-4, Even): Another great game for Justin Fields with 317 total yards on offense (226 passing, 81 rushing), with a passing and rushing touchdown. The Jets are close. Very close to breaking through.

30) Tennessee Titans (0-3, Down 1): Cam Ward needs help on offense. It needs a complete revamp heading into next season.

31) Carolina Panthers (1-3, Down 10): Last week appears to have been a mirage, as they got wiped out by the Patriots. Back to regularly scheduled programming.

32) New Orleans Saints (0-4, Even): Things can only get better for the Saints.
