The Cleveland Browns showed on Sunday why there are 60 minutes to an NFL game.
The Browns scored 13 points in the last 5:44 of the game, punctuated by a 55-yard field goal by Andre Szmyt to cap off a 13-10 comeback win over the Green Bay Packers at Huntington Bank Field to score their first win of the season, which you could watch with NFL Game Pass on DAZN (excl. US and China)
After a Szmyt field goal to make it 10-3, Packers quarterback Jordan Love proceeded to throw an interception to Grant Delpit, who returned it to inside the Packers' five-yard line. On the first play, running back Quinshon Judkins ran for a four-yard touchdown to even things up.Â
The Packers (2-1) were driving and on the verge of taking the lead. But the Browns (1-2) blocked a 43-yard field goal attempt by Brandon McManus to give them the ball with 21 seconds remaining. An offsides penalty by Micah Parsons and then two short completions by Browns quarterback Joe Flacco put them in position for Szmyt to work his magic.
Judkins rushed 18 times for 94 yards and the game-tying touchdown, and Flacco went 21 of 36 for 141 yards and one interception. Meanwhile, Love went 18-25 for 183 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
Next week, the Browns travel to Detroit to meet the Lions while the Packers head to Arlington and meet the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.
