Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffery lead the 49ers to upset win over the Eagles

The featured game of Sunday's slate of NFL Wild Card weekend had the reigning Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles hosting the San Francisco 49ers from Lincoln Financial Field. 

The Eagles had begun to round into form heading into the postseason, winning three of their last four games. On the other side, the 49ers have won six of their last seven games.

But at the end, the Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffery show proved to be too much for the Eagles as the quarterback threw two touchdowns and the running back caught two to propel the 49ers to the 23-19 victory and send the Eagles home for the season. 

The 49ers (13-5) will now travel to Seattle to take on the No. 1 seed in the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks. With the 49ers' win, that means the Chicago Bears will host the Los Angeles Rams on the other side of the NFC bracket.
