Finishing above NFL's showpiece are the Tour de France, Cricket World Cup, Women's World Cup, Olympic Games, Winter Games and the Champions League Final.
The NFL's audience has mostly been confined to that of the USA and Canada, whereas the other events on the list have a more global reach. However, as the NFL gains more popularity, that reach is changing, with more global fans tuning in to watch the NFL.
