Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre were teammates for three seasons, from 2005-2007, on the Green Bay Packers, before the team traded Favre to the New York Jets before the 2008 campaign. They are joined at the hip again. But this time, it's for a different reason.
Near the end of the first half of Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, Rodgers tossed a short touchdown pass to DK Metcalf, which was his first TD of the season for his new team. The touchdown throw was the 508th of Rodgers' career to tie him with Favre for fourth all-time. The touchdown pass was already the fifth of the year for Rodgers.
Tom Brady tops the list with 649 touchdown passes. He's followed by Drew Brees (571) then Peyton Manning (539), and now Rodgers is tied with Favre.
The Steelers (1-0) lead the Seahawks (0-1) 14-7 at halftime. In the first half, Rodgers is 5-of-12 for 37 yards and the TD pass to Metcalf. You can see the game and the remaining Week 2 with NFL Game Pass on DAZN (excl. US and China).
