Day 4 of the NFL Scouting Combine delivered several standout performances, as the offensive linemen put on an impressive display at Lucas Oil Stadium during testing and position drills.
Utah's Spencer Fano and Georgia's Monroe Freeling excelled in early testing, reinforcing their status as two of the top tackle prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Here, DAZN News breaks down how Fano and Freeling stood out at the Combine on Sunday night.
Fano, widely viewed as the No. 2 offensive tackle entering the Combine, boosted his draft stock by showcasing impressive speed with the fastest 40-yard dash time among offensive linemen.
The 21-year-old tackle also looked smooth in position drills, demonstrating the agility that helped him earn Unanimous All-American honours in 2025.
While Freeling is ranked just behind Fano on most draft boards and posted a slightly slower 40 time, his 33.5-inch vertical and 9-foot-7 broad jump may help him narrow that gap.
Freeling’s overall Relative Athletic Score (RAS), which measures and compares a prospect’s size and athletic testing against others at the position, places him among the leagues' elite.
As impressive as those numbers are, it remains unlikely they will significantly alter the tackle hierarchy, even with Miami’s Francis Mauigoa, the consensus top offensive tackle in the draft, opting not to participate in the early drills.
