Another week in the NFL season means more teams will be sitting idle for their byes.
Here are the two teams that will be on bye week in Week 14, the final time in 2023 that will see teams taking a rest.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals are 3-10 and out of the playoff picture, but the timing of their bye can actually be seen as a negative. That's because they were victorious last weekend, a 24-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Week 13's victory was only their second win in their last 10 games, so any momentum they would have generated from that result may disappear.
Washington Commanders
Like the Cardinals, the Commanders are well outside the postseason conversation.
Unlike Arizona, the Commanders should be welcoming this bye week with open arms as they are losers of four straight games — three of which they failed to score over 19 points.
