At UFC 315, Aiemann Zahabi is preparing for the biggest challenge of his career as he is set to face the legendary José Aldo.
To get ready, Zahabi can rely on his older brother, Firas, former coach of another UFC legened in Georges St-Pierre.
It’s a special relationship between brothers, as Zahabi shared with DAZN News.
"It's up and down because in Arabic culture, the older brother has a lot of authority over the younger brother," Zahabi explained. "We believe in hierarchy. Sometimes when we disagree, it is what it is. I take his word for it, and I try my best.
"Some days are harder than others, but in the end, we've made it work."
Beyond training, Firas remains Aiemann Zahabi’s biggest supporter.
"They are more dedicated to me winning than my brother," he said. "My brother and my wife are my biggest supporters. They give everything they have to see me win. In terms of time, resources, effort, care, and consideration, nobody gives me more than Firas and my wife, for sure."
At 37 years old, Aiemann Zahabi (12 wins, 2 losses) will be looking for his sixth consecutive victory at UFC 315 against 38-year-old Aldo (32 wins, 9 losses). It's a fight that is crucial for the Canadian bantamweight, currently ranked 14th in the division.
