9-0 and still unbeaten. That's the record of 25-year-old British prospect Lone'er Kavanagh. His latest success came last month at UFC London, against Felipe dos Santos.

DAZN News spoke to his coach Brad Pickett via NetBet, UFC Betting.

"He's a very, very talented prospect," Pickett said of Kavanagh. "I've known this kid since he was 14. I've been with him for a long, long time. He's very, very talented. He's very, very dedicated.

"Don’t get me wrong, you need a little bit of lady luck here and there in the fighting game, but he has all the tools and all the potential to reach the top of the sport, 100%."

Lone'er fights in the flyweight division, whose current champion is Alexandre Pantoja. When asked if his prospect could someday become champion, Pickett was emphatic.

"100%. I’d say he’s still young within the sport, young within the UFC, still undefeated," Pickett said. "For me, being undefeated doesn’t really mean that much nowadays, but he’s ever-improving. Some people have a ceiling. I think he has a much higher ceiling."

The former UFC fighter, who notably beat Demetrious Johnson, praised Lone'er's qualities as those which could eventually lead to stardom.

"He’s still improving," he said. "He’s still in the gym every day. He’s in the gym again today. He’s in the gym every day, getting better and always improving.

"So I do believe, obviously, a bit of luck here and there is needed, but I think he has all the tools to be number one in the world."
