The UFC hosted a Fight Night from London, England with former champion Leon Edwards taking on rising contender Sean Brady in the main event.

Edwards was initially slated to fight Jack Della Maddalena but Della Maddalena was pulled from the fight to face the new UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad instead. In his place stepped in Brady who was looking for a huge win to perhaps earn himself a shot at the champion next.

After a close first round, Brady found his rhythm and completely dominated the former champion, eventually finding the submission in the fourth round.

"I took this fight the day I got out of the hospital with my wife and newborn baby," he said after the fight. He said he'd be willing to fight whoever UFC president Dana White wants him to fight next and apologized to the London crowd.

Edwards was fighting for the first time since he lost his title to Muhammad July 2024. Prior to that he'd been undefeated since 2015.
