There’s something powerful about seeing your heroes on a wall.

Not on a screen. Not in passing headlines. But towering above a street corner, you know, a building you’ve walked by a thousand times. It’s where football meets life. And this month, in cities across the world, four women are turning murals into mirrors, reminding a generation of girls that this game belongs to them too.

They’re not here to blend in. They’re here to stand tall; on pitches, on buildings, and in the global imagination.

In Mollet del Vallès, a mural of Alexia Putellas now rises above the town that shaped her. Spain’s two-time Ballon d’Or winner is more than a maestro on the field; she’s a symbol of what happens when talent meets purpose. The local girl who became the face of a revolution. It’s fitting that she’s not just leading a team anymore, she’s leading a movement.

In Oslo, it’s Caroline Graham Hansen’s face that catches the light. Calm, composed, and constantly one step ahead, she’s long been considered one of the most complete players in the game. One of the most important players of Scandinavia now has a place of her own in her hometown

Across London, the future pulses through the paint. Lauren James, one of England’s brightest stars, now looks out over Chelsea. She plays with a kind of freedom that feels fearless. And that’s exactly what this is about: freedom to be seen, freedom to lead, freedom to change the game.

And then, there’s Farah Jefry. In a world often obsessed with the usual footballing powerhouses, she is carving out space on her own terms. Born in Saudi Arabia, a country only just beginning its journey with women’s football, Jefry is already its heartbeat. She’s the top scorer in the inaugural women’s league, and now, she becomes the face of something much bigger.

These murals aren’t just marketing. They’re moments. They say: we’re here. We’ve been here. And we’re not going anywhere.

It’s not just about the game. It never really was. It’s about who gets to play, who gets to dream, and who gets to be the face on the wall when a kid looks up and thinks, “Maybe I could be next.”

Pepsi’s commitment to women’s football goes beyond product and promotion. With its renewed UEFA partnership and growing global roster, including Leah Williamson, Signe Bruun, Stina Blackstenius, and more. It’s building a world where this kind of visibility isn’t a campaign, it’s the standard.

When you put women front and centre, not just in stadiums but on the streets, they don’t just become stars. They become inspirations. The game is growing. That the world is watching. That we are in a time where greatness gets the spotlight it’s always deserved.

And this summer? It’s just the beginning.
