It's a massive week in the National League, with a full fixture list across Tuesday and Wednesday, and the headline act comes from The Hive as leaders Barnet host second-placed York City in a top of the table clash - a game you can see live on DAZN.

The Bees currently top the division by four points, but York are snapping at their heels and have two games in hand on Dean Brennan's as the pair prepare to meet in a crunch game in the race for automatic promotion.

Ahead of Tuesday's massive match, Brennan spoke to DAZN's Curly and shared how excited he is about the showdown as well as being full of praise for his opposite number.

"I can't wait for the game, I'm looking forward to it now and all thoughts are going towards that game," the manager said after beating Solihull Moors on Saturday.

"Adam Hinshelwood has done a great job, hasn't he? You've got to give him a lot of credit, for getting them out of relegation and now into a title race.

"You can have all the money in the world, but you've got to spend it right and he's done that really well.

"Ollie Pearce has been an outstanding player. Marvin Armstrong, who we sold to them, has done great, they've all done great, and they are having a fantastic season. We're looking forward to it."

A win for either side would present a massive statement victory, and put them in pole position for the championship. Still, Brennan isn't getting too carried away and will take it game by game, whatever the result on Tuesday.

Adding: "If we win, lose or draw it won't change my mentality towards the next game. It's one game at a time and that's the focus.

"We can't influence anything else, we can only look after our own back yard and we'll continue to do that. It's important to stay focused on one game at a time, we can't get too low if we lose and can't get too high when we win. We just keep it nice and level.

"It's my job to make sure the standards are adhered to by everyone at the football club."
