The Champions League league phase reaches its conclusion with Matchday 8, as teams look to confirm their places in the competition’s round of 16. Only the top eight qualify automatically, while there’s a play-off berth for a further 16 sides, so it’s all to play for on Wednesday night.
Two teams who are looking at an uphill battle to make it through automatically are Borussia Dortmund and Inter, who meet in the final round.
Inter were well on their way at the halfway stage and looking like a safe bet for a top-eight finish, but after three consecutive defeats – including losing to Arsenal at the San Siro last time out – last year’s runners-up now need a win to secure a play-off berth.
It’s the same scenario for their hosts, who come into this having lost to struggling Spurs and needing to cling on to a play-off space. Dortmund will hope home advantage can get them over the line.
DAZN News has all the information ahead of Borussia Dortmund vs Inter.
Borussia Dortmund vs Inter will take place at 8pm GMT on Wednesday, January 28, at Signal Iduna Park in the Champions League.
That means that fans watching in the US and Canada can see the game at 3pm ET and 12pm PT, while it's a 7am kick-off on Thursday, January 29, for fans in New Zealand.
The man Dortmund look to when they need a goal, if the Germans are to get through this one, they’ll need an in-form Guirassy.
While he’s not been in the same deadly form we saw last season, he still has three goals in the Champions League this season and will be their biggest threat in attack.

When it comes to the man for the big occasions, Martinez in the Nerazzuri’s go-to guy, and he’ll be key once again.
The Argentine is arguably one of the most underappreciated marksmen in Europe and is once again leading the goalscoring charts in Serie A.
With both teams knowing a point will be good enough to clinch a play-off spot, expect it to be a closely fought encounter that ultimately ends all square.
