With Bayer Leverkusen having all but wrapped up the Bundesliga title, focus shifts to the other races up and down the table.
One of the more interesting races comes just beneath Leverkusen's lofty perch, as Bayern Munich hold a tenuous grasp on second place. VfB Stuttgart have pulled level on points and are in better form lately, giving Bayern another team to worry about as their uncharacteristic season continues.
Meanwhile, near the bottom of the table Köln and Mainz look to climb to safety. Darmstadt appear firmly rooted to last place and headed for the drop, but both Köln and Mainz are within two good results of pulling themselves out of the bottom three.
