Bundesliga 2023-24 Matchday 3: Schedule, fixtures, how to watch

Heading into Matchday 3, its apparent that the cream may already be rising to the top in the Bundesliga.

Yes, it's still very early, but the top of the table after two rounds of play contains the likes of Union Berlin, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen. Those three clubs finished fourth, first and sixth, respectively, so it's not surprising to see them all get off to a good start.

Of the teams that make up the top three at this early stage of the campaign, Union Berlin may have the toughest test on Matchday 3. They welcome RB Leipzig to the Stadion An der Alten Försterei for the weekend's final match, by which time they will know exactly what's needed to maintain their place atop the table for another week.
